SAP DMS HR Object in Authorization Tab Issue

Hi Guru,

Please help us check the root cause and possible solution to our issue. We are using SAP Properties -> Authorization Tab (we can as Authorization Holder Type values as User and HR Objects) to add uses/departments who can just check a certain DIR documents both in our SAP DMS and SAP Easy DMS.

But we notice, that when we use HR Objects, and put the Department number for that XXXX (which holds all employee for our company) even though the user exist to this HR Objects he cannot be able to see the DIR document having this Authorization values. But when we add the use as USER, he can now be able to see the DIR.

How can we verify what went wrong to this issue? Please guide us. Thank you

Hi Ryan,

I guess ACL functionality with HR objects is not yet fully implemented. I found some sdn links but no good response on ACL functionality with HR objects. Hence you may need to use Users and Usergroup with Easy DMS.
