SMS Receive & Send from/to PI

Hello All,

The requirement is to send SMS message to a mobile with payload of minimal fields and receive confirmation from mobile to PI.

I know we can configure SMTP, SCOT settings to send messages to mobile which is absolutely fine, but how do we receive messages from mobile in to PI( It will be only a confirmation of 'Yes' or 'No' or 'Approved' or 'Rejected'

The trickiest bit is receiving confirmation from mobile. Please advice?

I prefer to avoid PI here. Integrate your MOb with sender applictaion using J2ME or some other mob tech.

Hi Paul,

It depends on which technolgy is used by mobile application..is is java based(J2ME) or SAP MI.

You need to talk to corresponding team to understand what technology being used...what is mode of communicate..is it via web service or some other mean,
