what are the prerequisites for Restful web service.

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement, where we need to send data to the Restful web service.

Can some one please tell me what are the prerequisites for using restful web service in pi?

Do i need to purchase any third party tools to work in PI?

please tell me the approach to work on this..

in my case im using web service at receiver side, and im using PI 7.3 EHP1.
