Maintain Person Responsible

Hi,

As we aware the Person Responsible in will be maintained under customization (OPS6). In my Project we create project every other day with different person responsible. to maintain these person responsible entries we have to take approvals as this being open client activity. Is there any way so that we can maintain these entries without opening the client.

Hi,

You can think of creating a custom Z transaction for the same table as a table maintenance directly and then assign the Z t-code to the roles.

we are doing the same for maintaining applicant numbers directly in client.

Hi Gangadhar,

Yes, there is an option to make this configuration change without opening the client. Firstly you have to create a Change request (RFC) and then do the changes in ED1 010 client and map your changes to the transport request which in turn will be mapped to the Change request.

Now with the help of Testing team, you can import the changes from ED1 to Qa system and subsequently to PRD system without opening the client.

Hi Gangadhar,

Are you having Fire Fighter ID concept to maintain this entry in OPS6 directly.

In one of my previous project we used to login with Fire fighter ID in Production system directly to maintain this entry.

Check with your Basis team as well.
