Customer master new tab not visible in BDC LSMW recording

Hi Gurus,

I am stuck and need your help in the following scenario.

As per my clients requirement we have added a new tab with 25 fields in our customer master through ABAP enhancement. Now we are in process of creating a BDC for customer master record upload, but at the time of recording the new tab is not visible.

Please let me know in case I am missing some customization step for the same.

Hi Krishna/ Ammarah,

The above mentioned solution is not working. We tried the sam but still the new tab is still not visible in BDC recording.

Dear Himanshu,

You need to use append mechanism and have to append fields in the structure. Take the help of your ABAPER he knows well how to do that. Execute LSMW and check the name of the structure now in SE11 display the specific Structure in which you want to append fields. In the bottom you'll see the include just click on it and append all the Z fields which you want to be shown in that strcuture. Also, you can work with transparent tables in order to store your data in the DB if feasible for you updation wise. Lemme know if still you want more clarity in this. Thanks.
