PI Installation Error

Hi experts

I am trying to install SAP Netweaver NW2004s with PI component as a test

basis. We are doing this to get the exact result so there is should not be any

error.

We did not connect to LAN network

The assigned specs are

Computer name : ser

Free Space on the D drive is 37 GB

Oracle 10.2.0.2 as given by the SAP

Java 1.4.12

I have check the oracle services are running and the listener is also running. ia m gettin the gollowing errors:

Hi experts

I am trying this as a trial only. Ok the successful thing is the Oracle Listener is

not started so after starting that it proceeded. but again there was an error

triggered from java end. I have installed java as fist step and then i have added in

the enviornment variables also. Now it proceeded up to 36th step and then started

SAP engine and ABAP started but java is triggered unknown. I have provided with

the logs below.

Hi experts

There is one more spec i should tell.

As a trial I am using only 512 MB RAM in a local PC is it enough or more required

Hi Bala:

My understand is that you need around 1.5GB of memory. Please check the minimum requirements on the installation guide adn then run the "prerequisites check" for NW2004s. Regards,

Hi Bala:

If you do still have the problem, please take a look at the note Note 997889 - Error ORA-04031 due to "_fix_control"

There's a bug in Oracle that produces the ORA-04031.

Hi Bala,

You need to adjust your SHARED_POOL_SIZE in 'init.ora'.

If you have 4 CPU & around 3GB RAM then set it to 650MB

Try this
