Importance of SAP ABAP certification for a fresher

I recently completed my SAP ABAP training.

Can anyone suggest me how good it is for me to go for certification Or else what can be my next approach to get in to an ABAP career.

pls refer below links you clarified all you dougt  related to SAP certification may dear froiend you have lot of scope in SAP ABAP ,but you need to do training in SAP authorized center do more practice keep on try for apply job ,sure you can get job ..

Hi All,

     I am Naveen , I am new to this group. I am a BE Graduate in Electronics&Communication  stream, I have a 2 year exp in electronics industry, but now i want to build my career in SAP, so please guide me which module should i select??, i had consulted One training center by name itchamps in mysore, they recommended to go for ABAP, but i am not so strong in programming ,coding etc since i am from Electronics stream. I have a good knowledge on C, oops concept but i dont have relevant experience on that, so will i Be able to make it up in ABAP, kindly give me your valuable suggestions so that it help me alot.

Other than ABAP which modules will suit me, kindly comment here please!!!

If you have basic knowledge of programming you can easily geton in SAP ABAP ,do training in sap authorized center ,surely you have bright future in sap ....

I am an IT professional with a Masters degree in Computer Applications (MCA), currently working as a software developer for an Indio-US startup company. I recently completed SAP Certified Associate- ABAP certification with 83%. I have more than three years of hands on experience on product development, cloud application development and various frameworks and new technologies.

I am looking for a career in ABAP domain. For past two months I searched all jobs sites but still no hope.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Alekhya,

If you are interested in making a career out of SAP ABAP then attending a training and doing an Associate level ABAP certification will add a lot of value to your CV.

There are many small organisations that insist on ABAP certified freshers. This will give you an edge over your peers and will help you draw a better salary package.

As you are starting from scratch without any prior experience, I suggest contact an SAP Training Partner available in your region, attend the training and then appear for the Associate level exam.

Hi Experts,

I have decided to go for SAP BOBJ certification. But initially I want to gain knowledge in SAP BOBJ before entering into sap certification. So according to you is there any expert who can guide me in this regard? I heard that sap BW 7.3 with BO 4.0 has good demand in the market recently. Is it true? Is there any website or book that will help me regarding it. Even if there is any technical person who can help me either in person or through internet to get knowledge in SAP BOBJ then it would be of great help to me. Also please inform me some good training institutes from where I can start my SAP BOBJ training.

HI Alekhya,

I joined in to SAP community just few days back.

Certification is purely depending on how many years of experience you have in ABAP coding.

I believe you know the eligibility for the exam.

• You should have worked at least 2 years in a SAP partner company. or
• You should be trained in an SAP authorized institute (It is too expensive ).

If you are good at coding i suggest you to LEARN OOABAP and then WEBDYNPRO as they are the courses based on ABAP with good demand.

training in a authorised institute if u r a fresher.

Please go through the books related to certification

Exam in ABAP.
