Append and encrypt in PI SFTP adapter

Hi experts,

   I am working on a Proxy =>PI => FILE. The proxy will send data to PI and PI is doing a content conversion and then encryption using PGP module ( already installed).

Now since data is huge, so we have decided to go on splitting the files into the chunks of 5k and then send to PI..We will use the append option in SFTP adapter.

My question is whether appending the records and encryption can go together?

I mean, send 5k records then encrypt and then append 5k records and then encrypt and so on....

Please suggest.

Solved. I have produced multiple encrypted files.
