Hi,

Please make sure that the exe folder patch level is same in all the distributed systems.

The folders to be updated are.

  • /usr/sap/SID/DV*/exe
  • /sapmnt/SID/exe* or /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run
  • /usr/sap/SID/JC*/exe ( in case of java stack)
  • /usr/sap/SID/SCS*/exe (in case of java stack)

Patch level SHOULD BE SAME in all the folders mentioned above.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hi,

If CI and DB is on different servers, then you need to check whether both servers are sharing same sapmnt directory or not. If not, then you need to upgrade kernel at both servers.

If they are sharing same sapmnt directory then upgrade kernel on central instance host.

Thanks
