VC vs Database

Hi all,

When i was trying to install visual composer it asking SQL server..can't i go ahead with Oracle? or SQL is must?

As of this point VC is not supported with Oracle. The scripts that create the database tables are written for MSSQL. You could try and rewrite the scripts for Oracle if you want.

Hi

Can i install MSSQL standard edition or Enterprise edition..

my operating system is Window XP.

but in while installing did it support enterprise edition MSSQL 2000 SP2.

I don't think Widows XP is supported by SAP for a server OS. Check out service.sap.com/pam60 If you try and install MSSQL server on Windows 2003 Server you will get the same error but once you patch SQL server to SP 3 you will be fine.
