Hi All,
While trying to export the 'All objects of a softawre component'. In PI7.0 through CTS.
I am getting the error Attempt to serialize the generic part of object Data Type.
Please help.

Can you please share more details of error and the error code.
Sometimes re- importing the transport does the trick not sure if it will work in your case though.

Try to export it from others machine with different user id.

We are getting this error while exporting the Software component with the option 'All objects of a software component'.
this error is coming while we are exporting any data type. And in this case the error is coming for the data type 'ExchangeFaultData'.

I tried to exporrt the object from different machine. But still giving same error.
Also we have restated the server, even that didn't help.
SAP Note 1852103 - Data type can not be exported in ESR/Integration Repository
Cross check user credentials.
Expecting that User is having authorization to create request in PI system. Can you try to create request manually.

User is having required authorization to transport the objects. As with the same user we have transported many objects previously.
