Hi Experts,
What is the current CProects version in the market... Do I need to download the Cproject suite from the market place? Or is it now a part of the SAP PPM(Product and Portfolio management)? If yes, do we need to download SAP PPM or is it a part of ECC?
Thank you.
Hi Mandar,
Just as Ulf has said, cProjects is technically part of SAP PPM, and the current release is 5.0. Also, we do not use the term cProjects anymore, but call it PPM Projects. From a license perspective, it is still part of ERP. If you download PPM, you can use PPM Projects as part of ERP licenses. You need PPM licenses to use its portfolio management functionalities.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Rajeev

Thank you Rajeev.
So technically is all Project Management (C project) realted documentation available under PPM or do we have specific Project Management docs availble on the market place. By document I mean some kind of self help guide like we have for C Project 4.0 versions and below.
Thanks again.
Application help for PPM Projects (formerly cProjects Suite) can be found under the SAP PPM 5.0 help documentation. Same goes for other kind of documentation such as Ramp-up Knowledge Transfer (RKT), master guides, etc. Further, SAP PPM 5.0 itself is to be found under SAP PLM as far as online documentation is concerned.
Best regards,
Rajeev
Hi,
you need to download PPM. cProjects and former xRPM are integrated since years in this package.
Ulf.
