Disaggregation issue

Hi All,

Currently we are facing issue with dis aggregation in our system.

Our Forecast is not disaggregating correctly.

Steps followed:

1. Our Forecast get disaggregated with respect to another KF1. In our Process Chain on daily basis, Base Forecast is made to 0 by TSCOPY step. Now we calculate the the Base Forecast Volumes through a Macro. Our Macro runs on all lowest level of characteristic except Location Characteristic. In our Grouping condition we have flagged all characteristic except the Location Characteristic. When we disaggregate the volumes in Location level post the run of the Macro, we could see some arbitrary volumes going into FR78. If you look into KF1, there is no volumes in FR78 but still there are volumes moving into the Base Forecast.

Could anyone explain on what might be cause of this arbitrary volumes?

Kindly revert back if you have any question with respect to my context.

Thanks,

Bhaskar

Hello Bhaskar,

Could you please check if you have any values in the Base Forecast on the location levels after TSCOPY step and prior to running  the macro???

Please share your result.

Anurag

Hi Anurag,

Thanks for your reply. In foreground, i ran the TSCOPY and checked on the volumes and Base Forecast was zeroed out.

My concern is doubt is that the data is being initially stored in Live Cache, even after the initializing, the feel the Live Cache is populating last disaggregation volumes as my volumes on higher level didnt change.

Example for WK11.2013 my Base Forecast is 2139 before initialization and after the Macro calculation.

Hence I see the same volumes in disaggregated level. This might be captured from the Live Cache.

Could you help me on this behavior?

Thanks,

Best Regards,

Bhaskar

Hello Bhaskar,

In that case can you try doing Time Based Disaggregation for you Base Forecast Keyfigure.

Please maintain K (Based on another Key figure) in 'Time based Dis-aggregation' field and maintain your Key Figure KF1 in the 'Keyfigure for  Time Based dis-aggregation' field.

Hope this helps you in your scenario.

Anurag
