Is there Authorization Object for Cost Center (KOSTL) in ME21n transaction?

Hi experts,

I need to use an Authorization Object for Cost Center (Field KOSTL) in transaction ME21N.

I've used trace but I didn't found anything.

I just found an Authorization Object for Project Type (Field PRART).

Does someone know which Authorization Object I can use?

Any suggestion?

you can find authorization objects in a txn in tcode su24. if you are on EHP 4 or above, i think it is possible in PO

I've already checked this transaction, but it didn't helped me.

In SU24 there are 3 authorization objects which can help me: K_CCA, K_CSKS and K_CSKS_SET.

But the proposal of these three authorization objects are filled as No.

I've changed to "yes", and anything happened.

Is there any addictional step?

changes in Su24 are not reflecting in authorization objects of ME21N.

Is there any addictional step after changed?

Hi Rogerio,

You have done the following rite ?

  1-> Created a role with ME21N

2->  Against ME21N you have assigned the autherization object

3 -> Against the authorization object you have assigned the AU value

4 -> Assigned the role against the specific user

Hi Ranjit John,

I've already done developments with authorization objects before.

But, as you've suggested, I had to create a Z development.

I didn't understand which is the use for SU24.

I've found these authorization objects there, but my changes didn't worked.

If I have to create a Z development for a authorization object, the transaction SU24 isn't useful.

I appreciate your explanations.
