how to lock the objects.

hi all,

can anybody help me how to lock the objects which i made. That objects can see others but not able to do the changes.

Hey manoj

a lot of times my objects get locked in a very funny way:)

if i m working on any object and suddenly the connection to XI server is lost,that object gets locked and u have to unlock it by going to SLD under Lock Overview

i m not saying that u should use this method to lock your object,but it can be ur last resort

Hi,

yes it is possible to lock the objects. by uncheck the Objects modifiable, but eith this you may also not able to modify.. ihope..

Also check the below ..

You can create a user role for which IR object lock and add to your user.This type of thing can be done by basis team or admin authorised persons.

you could uncheck "Objects are modifiable" in the Software Component Version.
