Problem installing SMD Agent on Hana DB, for Solution Manager Monitoring.

hello everybody!!

I have an issue with the SMD Agent installation, everything looks fine but when  the Agent start seems die one minute  later. The only difference i found it's that  "/logs" from the agent directory , is missing!!!!  and a don't know why, try reinstalling the agent and nothing happens,  I looked for authorization problems or the Agent Version, but everything its ok!!.

my doubt is why the "/logs" directory don't create with the agent installation. For me  that it's the cause, but i don't know how resolve this problem.

Hana 4 rev 41

Agent SMD versión: 7.3 SP02.

the logs file wasn't created!! so i can't take a look for find the main problem

Hi Ivan,

finally we have solved this problem. You have to upgrade SAP Kernel for DA. Please refer to SAP Note

1707141 - Diagnostics Agent - How to upgrade SAP Kernel

I found the solution yesterday too!!, but  have no time for paste the solution here .
