Restrict type of incident

Hello experts, I have a quick question: how can I restrict  the kind of messages that a user can choose when creates an incident?

In my incident management module I have these three options , but I want to keep 2 only (I want to delete ZMIV or ZMIN perhaps)

This means that when the user creates an incident only have to choose ZMIV or SMDT

One way of doing it, and easiest way in SM 7.01 is through authorizations,

If you are using SM 7.1 - then you can restrict is at authorization level, and also at the UI level.

In SPRO - for that transaction type - just delete the channel - for CRM interactive webclient UI. This will never pop up.

For workcenters -  As you can only do it through authorizations.

what is a channel?

hi,

remove the additional transaction type from the tcode DNO_CUST04, the parameter would be PROCESS_TYPE and PROCESS_TYPE_ADD

the IMG path would be Go to SPRO- Solman- Capabilities- Incident Management- Transactions- Specify several trasaction types
