Wrong SQL Backup alert information from Solution Manager 7.1 SP5

Hello everyone,

I need some help with the wrong alert generates by Solution Manager 7.1 SP05 system monitoring.

Solution Manger keeps generating alerts of 'MS SQL Backup'. It seems Solution Manger monitoring tool could not get the last backup information from managed system and complaints there is no backup. But I know for sure in the managed system we do have proper successful backup every day.

From the Solution Manager managed system configuration, I can see currently my managed DB connection is in green mode and even from Solution Manager transaction DBToolkit I can also see the proper backup information of the managed DB. In the system monitoring configuration I chose the default SQL monitoring template as my configuration.

Does anyone have similar issue and know what the problem is? Thanks!

Just got note 1678076 from SAP and implemented it to the system. It seems worked since one of the alert was closed automatically.

I experienced the same issue on Solution Manager 7.1 SP7. I applied the SAP note 1678076, and the issue has been resolved.
