How can I Record the Characteristics in Result Recording

Dear Gurus,

Am new to SAP QM module.

Inspection lot is created while doing the GR from production.  And its status is already REL.  Now I want to do the Result Recording.  When i goto through QA32 for the result recording, system throwing error that:-

Characteristic Results Cannot Be Recorded for Inspection Lot

I have done all the setting which i have already known:-

1.  MIC created & assign Inspection Plan

2.  Lot having REL status now

3.  Done the Char Check in Material Master QM view

Then also system showing the same error.  Can any one suggest me for the resolving this issue.

Dears,

Am doing final inspection.  And I hv done the tick mark initially itself. i.e., before the GR itself.  After that only I am facing the above said issue.

Can you plz clear me once??

Hi,

When you tick Char check in material master?

If you tick Char check in material master after GR made, then you can't record the results of that inspection lot.

ru doing RR for in process inspection / Final inspection???

Please check in customizing for inspection types of 03,04.

& check in MM for check tick marks for task list / Specification & any tick on Sample Management options.
