Need info on central monitoring tool

Hi Experts,

We are planning to implement central monitoring tool using Excel .As part of this we need to connect to database tables of SXMB_MONI and RWB  monitoring tables .For this requirement we need info on OLEDB connection string details to connect to SAP database.

In our environment we are using DB2 database and AIX OS.So we want to know is this possible to implement,if yes,what we need to do to proceed further.

your help is very much appreciated.

Hi Srinivas,

I am not sure if it is advisable to connect to direct standard database tables of SAP PI.

But as an alternative you can write custom zprograms to fetch the data from PI monitoring tables and showcase.
