Hi All,

Recently we have Transported few ETL and report changes in production which worked successfully in production. However when the same changes (to the existing flow) have been moved in another identical landscape on a staging system the enhancements in the DataSources are not reflecting and Transformations above the DS are inactive.

-          When we reimport the relavant transports, they fail.

-          we have deleted the BW data in that flow in target system,

-          Reimported the source Trs,

-          Replicated the DS and  full list of BW transports of the complete change

-          Tried activating using the abap program rsdg_DS_activate

Still it doesn’t work. Below are the dumps. Please suggest what can be done in this regard to activate the DS and TRFNs.

Hi,

It seems your datasource technical name is not starting with standard namespace, Is it starting with

alphabet other than Z* ?

If it is then try to check with your basis team , they have to make the namespace changeable.

Please go through below link, it will help you to understand.

Hello,

Please check into table RSDS whether active version exist or not. Also if you are having infosource in between it need to be activated by using program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

The 2 Error Messages Long Texts are:

-------------------

System setting does not allow changes to be made to object RSDS OPP_DATASOURCE              CS1100
Message no. TO128

Diagnosis
The system change option and namespace change option set for this SAP system do not allow any changes to be made to object RSDS OPP_DATASOURCE              CS1100.

System Response
Editing is terminated; the object can only be displayed.

Procedure
If you want to edit the object RSDS OPP_DATASOURCE             CS1100 in this SAP system, get your system administrator to set the SAP system to Modifiable for this object.

This can affect the modifiability of the namespace /*/ or the namespaces that match /*/, and the global system change option setting.

You set the system change option in the Transport Organizer tools (transaction SE03). Expand the Administration node and run the Set System Change Option program. The available options are described there.

Object RSDS OPP_DATASOURCE             CS1100 could not be saved to an order

Two points

1. After source system transports we then transport the BW data source and then replicate the data source. As written in the original post, replication was done before BW transport.

2. Looking into the 'error message long text', it looks as if it is not allowing since the object must have already been captured in another request - earlier one. So check in se09/10 and delete it and then try doing it.

Hi,

Try activating your datasources thru Prog RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL

and activate transformations too by using prog RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE
