Create logical system authorization problem

Hello ,

tried to create a "logical system" in NW 7.3 AS ABAP, client 001 :

t-code BD54 / new entries / < assignments > / save

error message : you do not have authorization for the

                action

prerequisite :  user : XYz / group : super / role : SAP_BC_Basis_Admin

checked with SCC4 : client role : customization / cross client changes allowed

Privileges should be enough for that action ?

comment is appreciated

Oscar

Hi Oscar,

You need the authorisation for these Objects:

B_ALE_LSYS - Field: LOGSYS

S_TABU_CLI - CLIIDMAINT

S_TABU_DIS -ACTVT

Additionally you may check authorization missing objects using su53.

Once you get an error message for no authorization , on the same screen you may tun tcode /nsu53. It will list what extra authorization you require.

You may then request basis person to provide those authorizations.

Hello Deepak,

thanks for your answer ...

I checked failure within BD54 with /nsu53 before I

started this discussion so I know what object lacks

authorization ...it´s B_ALE_LSYS

Another point is its a test system for me so I have

SAP* and DDIC authorization.

But I am missing knowledge about assigning authorization

at that deeper level ( PFCG  etc. ). Is there a source to get such

information ... I searched SDN as well as SAP Marketplace

but no appropriate How to...

comment is appreciated

Hi Oskar,

Refer this youtube link for pfcg role creation http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=SG&hl=en-GB&v=GPLvHaYyMYk

As it is a test system you may create a new user with your name and assign SAP_ALL profile to it.

Later use your user to created Logical systems

Refer youtube link on how to create user http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbhoaQEdmnM

Hope this helps.
