7.1 - FTP Recevier Issue

Hi Experts,

I am tired to resolve this issue and need your help.

We have PI 7.1 SP09 server and there is IDOC to FTP flat file scenario with encryption :-

I have 2 different FTP server at different location :-

For both scenarios [ FTP recvier scenario ], getting same error :-

File processing failed with Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: ConnectException:  Connection refused: connect

As per links, below option tried, but hard luck :-

Receiver server FTP port 21 is open.

FTP user id and password is correct.

The folder is having all access.
Increase the consumer threads for file adapter.

Increase the concurrency in receiver communication channel.

Set poolWaitingTime in receiver communication channel.

From FTP vendors, everything is fine from thier end. If I sent file manually/Firezilla , it is receiving by FTP correctly but though PI it is giving problem ?

DO I need to install anything for FTP ?

Please suggest !

Ensure the FTP user you are using in PI is having all the authorization.

This can be verified with the help of basis team at your end.

Thanks, It was Firewall issue in PI server end.

Obviously few more connections are already existing towards your Receiver FTP Server.

Seems, your  Receiver FTP Server reached its maximum log-on limit, cross check it once if you feel that the credentials are correct.

Hi ,

login to your server at os level using telnet command.

after login-->execute command (ftp targetftpserverip)-->give credentials -->it shows whether you could able to connect from your PI server.

I am able to Lonin from my desktop

But NOT from PI server as you suggested.

Hi,

Did you added file server details in host file of your pi server ?

IP hostname
