DPMO settings in SAP ME 6.0

While installing SAP ME 6.0, it asks for clicking on YES or NO for activating DPMO and thereby activating additional NC codes.

If we select NO for now, then is there any provision later on to enable it without disturbing the SAP ME and server configurations during normal course of project?

If you decide to use DPMO functionality, I would suggest checking this Wiki page since DPMO setup has been changed in ME 6.0.

Hi Mansi,

Yes, there are 2 ways I can think of right now:

- manual creation of needed NC codes in NC Code Maintenance;

- installing SAP ME to some temporary folder and selecting the option during the installation so that the IDAT files include the needed NC codes, and them copying NCCodeBO.idat, NCCodeDefBO.idat and NCGroupBO.idat to the /idat folder of the main SAP ME installation and executing Reload Initial Data for sites where the codes need to be added.
