Trobleshooting Local Errors in Application Monitors

Dear Gurus

We are running SRM7.1 in Classic scenario mode for the first time but we are getting inconsistent errors showing up in our Application Monitors, Shopping Cart-Local errors / Local errors section. All adhoc SCs are appearing in ECC ok, but we have one or two hitting errors from punch-out catalogues (if that makes a difference!)

Shopping cart 0020169807: Error creating the follow-on document

From RZ20, msg id is  BBP_PU 367

We have seen some threads on here that talk about debugging + traces, but is there no way we can troubleshoot the problem by other means as to why ECC blocked it?

Thanks

Ian

Hi Vinay

Thanks for answering.

All appears to be ok with RFC users. In fact we are persistently getting this problem when we select items from a newl created external catalogue, All internall and other external catalogues result in successful PO creation in ECC: It's just this one catalogue we are having a problem . All appears ok during selection of items and SC creation and approval. It's just at the pint when the details are passed over to ECC that we get the application monitor error msg mentioined above.

Thanks

Ian

Hi

Try to re-trigger via FM BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER and check SLG1 log for failing reasons.

Some times it may go through as well.

Have you tried creating a shopping cart and Saving it.

Try debugging BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER for this cart and you can see the actual errors.

If its catalog, It could be due to missing UOM or un-matched ISO codes for UOM in ECC.

Sushil.
