Messages not generated on change documents

We are currently upgrading our ECC 6 to Enhancement Pack 5.

In our non-upgraded environments, changes to RFQs (ME42) and Outline Agreements (ME32K) automatically generate messages and printed output. 

However, in our post-upgrade environments, messages are no longer being generated on changes.  Messages (and printouts) ARE automatically generated on the creation of new documents.  On changes, however, we get the following pop-up:

"No message record could be found for output of message.  Save anyway?"

I have checked message determination configuration, and I do not see any change from our pre-upgrade environments.  I have checked OSS and did not find a problem related to EHP 5.

Is anyone familiar with this issue?

Hello,

Check first in customizing, which kind of print program you are using as well es the print form.

If you are using your own defined program and print form, you can  test, if the system behaviour is the same using SAP standard.

SAP Notes 1687453 and 1705620 resolved the issue.
