When you performed last successful update of java stack? What method you use to download java packages? You need to update 4 java components: SAP-JEE, SAP-JEECOR, SAP-JTECHF, SAP-JTECHS to same SP12 and after that try to deploy LM-SERVICE component.

Roman

As I wrote before run MOPZ for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1, select the target stack, download files and apply with JSPM and SAINT.

hi Samuli,

I am deploying the patches with JSPM but one patch not found while i tried with all highlighted patches.

Please check the above snap and tell me the path of ISAGENT 8.1 and its patches?

There are too many file in \usr\sap\SOL\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\JSPM\log\. please tell me file which I have to share with you to check the result of JSPM.

This is more of an SAP Basis problem. Do you have anyone that could help you? Anyway, check in the JSPM log directory for a log file called SCAN_INBOX, it will have the filename of the missing archive. It could also be that the file is there but it's corrupt in which case you should download it again.

Check status of your J2EE engine: dispatcher, server, SDM. After that check dev_<component> for components that are not started.

hi Samuli,

I checked the SCAN_INBOX and find the below information

after that i uploaded the kernel files and restart the JSPM.

please check JspmResults(find attached file for complete result)

I just uploaded the kernel files but how the below missing tag is resolve?

SAP-NOTE tag is missing

STACK-SHORT-NAME tag is missing

PRODUCT-PPMS-NAME tag is missing

why did I not face the below Exception during JSPM?

Error: Caught the following error or exception: "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError"

Regards,

Don't concern yourself with the tag warnings, as long as JSPM ended succesfully and your system works, no need to worry.

You didn't get the error because you patched your system the way it is supposed to be done, with JSPM, correct level of components and LM-SERVICE and LM-TOOLS patched at the same time.

Provide the exact version of your Solution Manager system. You should make sure the LM-SERVICE SCA you are trying to install is compatible with the rest of your system. Furthermore according to SAP note 1800927 LM-SERVICE should be installed together with the ST component.

Please check the status of SDM.

would you confirm me about deployment of LM-SERVICE. Right now the LM-SERVICE is 7.01 SP10 and may i deploy the LM-SERVICE 13 or I have to follow the sequence.

No, you can't install SP13 without updating other AS JAVA components. You can install a patch on top of the SP10 you are using, however you should also update LM-TOOLS, it is still at SP2. I think that might be the reason for the problem you are seeing. LM-SERVICE and LM-TOOLS should be patched together.

If you want to update to a higher SP level, use MOPZ to calculate the stack, download and install with JSPM (and SAINT for AS ABAP). That said my recommendation would be to use MOPZ since your system is already in an unsupported state (LM-SERVICE SP10, LM-TOOLS SP2). Remember to make a MOPZ transaction for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1, not NetWeaver 7.0 EHP1.

I already provided the solution.

If you insist doing it the wrong way, at least install SP10 of LM-TOOLS, not SP3. And again, use JSPM not SDM. You should install LM-SERVICE and LM-TOOLS (of the same SP level) at the same time with JSPM, use force option if required (since SP10 of LM-SERVICE is already deployed).
