Hi Experts,
Im my project CRM, ECC and some multiple third party system integrated with PI 7.1. Currently CRM has 2 clients 100 and 200.
CRM Dev 200 is linked to ECC 100 Dev
CRM Qual 200 is linked to ECC 100 Qual
CRM Prod 100 is linked to ECC 100 Prod
Everthing is working fine and it has been in live from past 3 years.
Now our basis team has decided to copy the CRM Prod system to CRM Dev/Qual client 100 not 200. And they are planned to remove the client 200 and expecting all interfaces should work (with CRM client 100) as it is now.
My questions are...
What are pre-cautions should we take into consideration?
How the existing interfaces will work which are directed to CRM 200?
If we need to some changes to integrate with CRM client 100 then what changes i need to perform?
Please get back to me If my question is not clear.
Thanks-
Ramesh.
It looks they are going to remove dev.quality CRM client, if PI dev/quality directly connecting to CRM 200 client then you need make sure that all RFC connections and Proxy connections should point correct CRM system and perform PI interface smoke test.
I dont think it will impact anything on CRM 100 client because there are not going to do any changes so all interface should work in Production.

Hi Ramesh,
You need to do below changes:
1. In SLD, point business system to 100 client
2. Change RFC destinations in PI for CRM system to point to client 100
3. In ESR, change client in SWCV in which CRM objects are imported (RFC/Idoc)
4. In ID, change client in communication channels pointing to CRM system (RFC/ Idoc/ XI adapters)
Also erify same user id is used for communicating with CRM 100 system as that of CRM 200 otherwise
a. get same userid created in 100 client of CRM which is used for communication with PI or
b. change userid password for 100 client in PI system in RFC destinations/ communication channels

Beena
