I tried to install SAP Crystal Dashboard Design 2011 but it is not possible on my PC

Yesterday I downloaded SAP Crystal Dashboard Design 2011, departmental edition and installed under Windows 7 (32-bit). After restart of Windows 7 I gett an Runtime Error Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library "Program: C:\Progra…" This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Please can you solve this problem, so I can test this program as son as possible.

I also tried to install SAP Crystal Presentation Design. It is also not possible. I installed Office Professional Plus 2010. I get the message that Excel must be preinstalled.

I don't understand wat I do wrong. Please help me. I must deliver dashboards as soon as possible to my management.

office 2010 32 bit is supported from xcelsius 2008 sp4 onwards but 64 bit is not supported

type msconfig in run and launch the uac that is user account control settings and bring the bar to the bottom

Then try to run setup as admin.

Hi Robert,

Did you install the 64-bit version of MS Office?  Unless things have changed recently, I believe that Xcelsius requires the 32-bit version.

Regarding your VC++ Error: If you are running Windows 7, try running the setup.exe as Administrator
