Out of Memory trouble

Hi there,

Our HANA has a trouble caused by "Out of Memory".

Could this trouble aboid any settings in administration.

Does anyone have any information?

Can you elaborate? How/where exactly are you experiencing this problem?

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your contact and sorry my bad explanation.

Our HANA is lack of stability.
She left log as below,

Mar 13 10:26:56 <SERVER> kernel: [1606360.396563] Out of memory: kill process 37752 (hdb.sapDHJ_HDB0) score 292045236 or a child
Mar 13 10:26:56 <SERVER> kernel: [1606360.396566] Killed process 37777 (hdbnameserver)

Our server memory size is 128GB and data volume size is 87GB.
Only execute SQL statement,our HANA is dropped.

And,yesterday, we lost symboric link and we cannot see exe files under folder of "sapmnt".
Therefore,we cannot boot HANA.
After reboot OS, the symbolic link is bring back and we became able to connect HANA.

I would like to know whether we could control memory usage by the configuration setting of HANA or not.
