Reverse PGI

Hi experts,

While reversing PGI (VL09) system is throwing error.

system response "Document date is outside allowed range"

                            Posting with selected document date is not allowed

Procedure: Change document date.

How to change the document date of delivery?

since PGI is over the delivery is grayed out it is not possible to change the document date.

While reversing PGI(VL09) is it possible to change the document date.? Please suggest.

Hi,

While you are doing the reverse PGI , Check the date of Actual PGI date and the reverse date.  It may happen the Reverse PGI date may be earlier to the actual PGI Date. so system does not allow you to do so.

So at VL09 just click on Define date tab which is next to Reverse tab and change the local date to after the " Actual GI date" . So that system will allow you to do so.

HI Ali,

After selecting delievry document number please press Shft+F2 (Define date) here you change the date to current open period date.

And let us know the results.

Yes, we did this many times whenever we get the posting date error.

Thank you for sharing. I will test this. I never faced any error in VL09 but I will make a scenario and test this.
