Downloading Solution Manager 4.0

Hello All,

I have been trying to download Solution Manager 4.0 but to no avail!

Can anyone please guide me, as to where I can download it from.

I have already tried the link https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/swdc --> Download --> Installations and Upgrades -->My Company's Application Components --> and I can't find Solution Manager there.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Sapna,

Do you want the installations DVD or the stacks?

The installation DVD can be found in service.sap.com/installations->SAP Technology components.

Check also 628901.

I had already checked on service.sap.com/installations->SAP Technology components, and just found the following two components there

SAP REMOTE DATABASE MONITOR

SAPINST

I actually want the whole software download, as we are implementing Solution Manager for the first time. I was wondering if I could skip ordering it (as listed in 628901 and 925690 notes) and can download it online as it would be quicker.

Is there anywhere else I can check for it?

Also, when I try to order the software online, I get this error "No installation for sw-package SOLMAN, please contact contract department!", seems like something missing from our company profile, right?

Hi Sapna,

There is not other "official way" to get the DVD.

Definetly you need to open a message under 'XX-SER-GEN-CONTR' component to request for the creation of a SOLMAN installation.

Note 154743 and 925690 shares more information.

Just type SAP Solution Manager and Search you will get.

i am trying to download but i dont have access to service.sap.com.

can get any help from u.

i need pwd just to download it.

Thanks for the information..Actually I have tried this and it gives me the following message:

No Results Found

I am getting to believe that it is something to do with my account, because it is strange that I can't find Solution Manager to download at all.

Hello,

If your company has not request for the SOLMAN license and send back a paper saying that you are going to use this SOLMAN only for SOLMAN scenarios you could not see the SOLMAN INstallation entry under SAP Technology Component.

So as suggested by the note you gave "532145" and Dolores' instruction, I have created couple of messages with SAP regarding the problem I am facing, hoping to find SM and a solution soon.
