How to Modify Operation Text in PPDS (APO) CIF

We are in the process of implementing MRPDS.

Does anyone know how we can best update the operation short text in the CIF outbound ECC to inbound APO?

The standard user enhancements CIFORD02 (ECC) and APOCF004 (APO) do not pass the structure /SAPAPO/CIF_ORDER_OPR_TXT (for /SAPAPO/OPR_TXT).

What we want to do is concatenate the ECC operation standard text key in front of the operation short description. We do not want it in the ECC master data for the obvious reasons of duplication of effort, validity checking, and it will look downright ugly on the ECC side.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, we have implemented note 1013667 and its related note, 1011801, looks like it will not work.

We are getting the text in APO (thanks to 1013667), we want to change the text while in flight from ECC to ERP
