Payment file need to post respect to last financial year(CLOSED)- FP05

Hi all,

we have an issue with our current bussiness team where they were unable to process the payment file reaspect to 2012 september to december posting periods.

being some reconcilation issue they were found some of the files were not process through PI (being some file format issue).

now business user wants to post the respective payment posting in the SAP system.

business is not allowing to open the closed posting periods.

how do we able post the manual payment lot respect to last year what kind of approach is the best to post a payment lot respect to last fiscal year data.

could any one share their opinions on this please.

Hi Honey,

There is no way you can backdate a payment lot when the previous posting period are closed.

If previous postings periods are not opened (as it should be, because of reconciliation issue), I think the best way would be to post the payment lot in current posting period by using the document date and the value date of the past.

This would basically indicate the payment lot belongs to a previous date and was posted in current period because of some anomalies.
