We recently published a blog describing this new application, and wanted to make sure it was cross posted so people were aware.
Here is a link to the blog:

Hello Kristen,
We are using this tool in our organization and it is really very helpful. But, I have a question, why it don't search implicit enhancement implementation during replicating the scenario ?
Or let us know, if there is any workaround for this, since there are many implicit enhancements implemented in our project. Thanks in Advance !!

Nitin Patil.

Hiya,
I have been using ANST and it has been great but now I get this error all the time:
Message no. ANST001
I have checked SM59 for SAPOSS and tested the connection and it works fine...
Does anyone know why this error might be occuring as without ANST I am lost.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Andreas,
Could you elaborate on the workaround please?
All my incident says is:
"I checked this with the Developers and the issue is actually with the
service on our side. We are working to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, there is no ETA yet at the moment. The RFC connection
will work again once the connection is back up. Thank you for your
patience."
And that was weeks ago.
Hello Kristen,
Thank you for the excellent article!.
I had the chance of using the tool since 2 years ago as we participated in the pilot phase and I use the tool very much.
Thanks also to the Spanish team that created this useful application.
Cheers and regards,
Marta.

I got this tool going few weeks ago and only thing I can say - I love it. There is of course lots of room for improvements but at first glance the tool looks very helpful and worked very well for me. I already solved few issues. Way to go!!!

I have another question now: what does "The RFC connection was improperly configured" means? Where should we "configure" it? Our system has some RFC Destinations to OSS (we can install notes).
PS: I see that my previous question made it into the FAQ note 1818192... Cool! It seems that another "AQ" is going to be added soon...

Hi Dragos,
Go to transaction SM59 and search ABAP SAPSNOTE.
Well, it's mentioned in note 1818192 - FAQ: Automated Note Search Tool.
This function requires the correct setting up of the
connection SAPSNOTE , which is also used for the Correction Workbench. If none
of the connections are available, no notes are found. To set up the connection,
see SAP Notes 33135 and 22235.
But maybe it's not clear enough, so your suggesitons are welcome to improve the note.
Thank you!,
Carlos.
Oh, then I must have overseen this paragraph.
Probably because the text "no notes found" implies somehow a working search, which however delivers no results (kind of situation that is solvable by modifying the search parameters), while I expected a more technical headline, which underlines the fact that the search is not possible in the first place (something like "note search not possible").
Thanks again for the assistance.
I am trying to.
Our customers do not have yet the SP level that includes ANST (they do not install NW SPs individually, but packaged with our application's SPs; our next SPs have RTC mid of next month, therefore only then the tool will begin to be deployed; if we're lucky, we'll have critical mass of customers about next year...).
And our internal development systems are not set up for SNOTE corrections (they receive transports from basis components).
And my user is not exacly an SAP_ALL superuser, so every little change must be done by DLM...
Is there a trick required to use it for recording WebDynpro applications? When I use the corresponding option, after clicking on "start recording" I get a dialog saying "trace cancelled by the user".
And also: in the dialog for opening the trace, the first (leftmost) button is "cancel" and the second one is "execute".
