What does it mean my Cost Mapping? Is it a part of SAP SD? can anyone explain in detail.Thanks in advance.

As per my understanding Cost mapping is a process of trying identify the different costs incurred and inturn each cost is linked to which cost element.
It is process of identifying the course of expense (cost) and where is it accounted (accumulated for accounting). All the costs are accumulated in teh G/L accounts and these are transported thr a cost element to the Cost Object (Cost Centre) / internal Order/ WBS etc.
This is part of CO-PA and talk to a CO Consultant, he would be able to explain in much better way.

Tha fact that nobody has responded so far in SD forum implies that this is not part of SD. All the more reason for us not to worry too much about it. Isn't it?
BTW, I have never done this nor heard any SD member talk about it.
