Hi experts,
im new to SLD configuration. we have a requirement where we need to Configure TS and BS for ECC 6.0.Basis guys configured Technical system and business system with the ECC Staging details. Is it correct or we have to provide ECC Dev details.
if we are transporting objects from DEV--> QA --> Prod. how it will work.
we configured TS and BS with the ECC staging details. once the development is done, we need to move it to QA. but we have given ECC staging details in TS and BS. so to move do we need to define TS and BS again for QA system? explain me what should we do, while transporting objects from one system to another.
Dear All,

Hi Bhargava,
Basis guy needs to create TS and BS for ECC in PI SLD, similarly for Quality and production also he needs to create it. Apart from this he needs to define the transport path from dev to Quality in DEV PI and from Qul to Prod in QUA-PI.
Regards
Anand

Hi Bhargav,
ECC bussines system meant for Proxy/IDoc scenarios(for RFC also you can), for other scenarios you can use Busines component.
You need to create TS and busines system in SLD (dev,QA and Production) and you need to create Transport Targets and Groups. This helps to change configurtaion obejct busines system name automatically in Other environment after transport.
If you are usng central SLD then you dont need Transport Targets and Groups.
Thank you
