Change Default Background job class.

Dear All ,

we are working on BI system and running time taking background jobs in RSA1. Currently All jobs running  with default class C ( C - Low priority ). we want to change priority of these job . Means when we run job in RSA1 , it run in class A or at at least give us option to change job class.

Hi Imran,

You need to first schedule these jobs. Then later in SM37 modify these jobs and change the job class.

From Basis side you can do this much. You may check with BI consultant how do they schedule these jobs . You may evaluate options in that process.

Dear Deepak,

In RSA1 , when execute job in background , it not give us option to schedule job , it directly run job in background . In sm37 its show status active. Plz guide how to tackle this situation.
