Hi Omkar,

Delivery priority: It field value is use ful, when we are creating delivery

Shipping conditions: This filed value gives the information, that the particular Materail/Article should be shipped in specific conditions

ex: In pharma industry, Insulins(Diabetic drugs) always ships in freeze conditions.

Hope , you got the difference

Hi Srinivas , this is very important 2 fields in customer master we define for customer .

1. shipping condition -  It is used to determine a shipping point for the customer , from where goods is loaded and dispatch. why it is defined there because to determine  one of  the parameter to determine the shipping point in sales order  from customer master .when he place the order.

shopping point = shipping condition ( customer master )+ loading group( material master) + delivering plant (customer master).

2. delivery priority -  it is used to determine how quickly the goods will be deliver to customer ( immediate  , medium , normal) , because it depends upon the requirement of customer . in general sense , how much important is that customer for you or how early customer  want the goods . depends upon the nature of business of customer.

it also helps in backorder processing.

Thanks

Hi Omkar,

Delivery priority

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/fb/fceb47b535d1118b3f0060b03ca329/content.htm

Shipping Condition

Basic difference is that Delivery priority decides priority of customers. Whereas Shipping Condition defines Shipping Strategy.
