Link is using NWBC rather than portal for technical evaluator

Dear SAP experts,

We are in SRM 7.01 with backend ECC 6.05. We are deploying classic scenario and activating two-envelope bidding (through activation of business function  in EHP1 rather than using Procurement for Public Sector). Please note that we are using portal to access our SRM, and the portal is linked to our LDAP system, so the pwd in portal will be different with the pwd in SRM.

When we create RFx with two-envelope bidding, we can choose the user id acting as technical evaluator, and set when will the technical document will be opened. Once the vendor has submit the bid, and the time has come, the system will generate an email to the chosen technical evaluator. However the link that is sent is like this:

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/cfx_rfc_ui/fol_de.htm?p_col_id=000C292965A81EE2A19AC7....

When we click the link, there will be a prompt for user id and password. However the user id and password expected is for the user id and password to SRM rather than user id and pwd to portal. This will cause problem as the user will not know the password to SRM as they are using portal to access the SRM.

Is there anyway that the link will give the portal link instead and user need to input user id and pwd for portal instead?

Hi Sap2605,

The user ID and Password which the user needs to enter is of Cfolder. As Cfolder is at the same client over which the SRM System exist, you need  to enter the Backend password for SRM System.

Purpose of Technical Evaluation is to evaluate the Technical Bid in Cfolder.

According to me,  you can try workaround by integrating BSP Page cfx_rfc_ui on your Portal.

once Integrated , The Evaluator can login in to the Portal and Access Cfolder to Evaluate the Technical Bid.
