Hi, we need to create a measure or a dimension with a mdx sentence that returns the first 20 products of a dimension Product according to the value of a measure (sells).

For example, we need a measure or sentence that returns the 20 most selled products.

what MDX function could we use to achieve this?

we are working with 4.0 sp 4 Fx3 and SQL Analysis Services 2008 R2.

Do you want a separate Object for this?

You can achieve this at the WebI report level by applying Ranking on the column you want to show top 20. You can do this either based on value or percentage. Select Top or Bottom Values as per requirement.

Alternatively, you can create a new object at the variable level and use Rank function from the available functions list.
