Planning Start date in APO Planning book data view

Hello,

We have a business requirement in Demand Planning to fix the planning start date for scenario version.   We have put the 01.12.2012 as planning start date, which means there will not be any roll forward and the start of the planning will be fixed on 01.12.2012.

Now we are in March 2013.   When I generate the forecast in scenario version, expectation is that system should start forecasting from 12.2012, since planning start date is 01.12.2012.   But system generates the forecast from March 2013 only (which is current period)

It seems to be a bug.   Any BADI/user exit / OSS available?

Hello Bhavesh,

Planning start field in data view is meant for displaying the planning book in /sapapo/sdp94.

If you give 12.2012 in this field then your interactive planning book will be displayed starting from 12.2012.

Now your forecasting start period depends on the forecast horizon given in  your forecast profile in /sapapo/mc96b.
