Change and transport system

hello gurus,

I have few things to be clarified. I had gone through sap docs but could not come to an understanding.

          1.  in what case you go with consolidated route and delivery route.

             for example if i have dev --> dev ---> qas --> dev ---> qas -- > prd

            so for above scenario which routes have to be defined.

           2.  if I have multiple dev systems and a single qas system, and all dev systems consolidated system(target system) is QAS system only. so for this do i

               have to define 'SAP' standard layer for all the consolidated routes along with my ZDEV standard layer.

thnx for yuur time

Dear Thomus,

1) In consolidate route:route b/w devand qas

we can change object and transport request one system to another

In delivery route: route b/w QASand  PRD.

we cannt objrcts and transport request one system to another.
