Service catalog in SRMMDM catalog

Hi All

I have created product catalog in MDM  its integrated with SRM and it working.

Please let me know how to create service catalog in SAP MDM, whether the repository structure is same for both the things.

Please let me know if there is any link so yu can refer to create the same.

How to load the structure and mapping

Please help.

Hi Sandeep.

Your problem is that you need another repository, MDM use one repository to material,and another to Services.

you need download the ARchive from SAP MARKETPLACE, and unarchive the repository. after, you continue with activities similar to product_repository.

MDM use another repository, because the structure for Services is diferent, mainly for the hierarchy to services.

Hi Alejandro

I created two repositories and loaded the data in MDM by pushing data through MECCM transaction in SAP ERP.

i created webservice in SRM and assigned it to the user and established the connectivity but the records from MDM are not visible in SRM portal.

Please let me know if i am missing anything.

Hi Sandeep.

when you checked your Configuration of SRM-MDM Catalog Web UI. can you  see any records in Preview?

In PPOMA_BBP you select the Catalog ID attribute - Change Atribute.  Select the entry for the SRM-MDM Web Service created in the previously.

you havent a log or error. right? you only cannt see the records? maybe your MDM-user have poblems with your roles.

Hi Alex

How can i see the preview?

I am using the user Master and it has all the roles

The issue is for the same user Master the product data is visible in the portal but its showing empty records for service data.

PFA data in data manager.Please can you suggest if any issue in data

you can access to WEB UI trought   http:/</J2EEserver:J2EEport>/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM  . Here you can check you catalog and preview the records..

in another hand, you can check the groups for your user in PPOMA_BBP. the type of products and servicies.
