Approval Request cannot be processed

Hi All

I'm having an issue where an approval request is in the queue but cannot be acted on.  They come back with 'Could not approve pending request'.

I found two approval requests almost exactly the same submitted one after the other (they have sequential approval uids).  The only differences are the:STATE (the first is state 0, the second is state -1) and the check/timeout/reminder dates which are null on the first one and set on the second.

I've triggered an approval via a job to set the state to approved but it doesn't remove it from the queue.

Any thoughts?

Just to make it clear, both approval requests are for the same pending value object (the mskeys are the same)
