How to retrieve full text for SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT?

Hi,

Within ALRTCATDEF, the element, SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT, is defined as CHAR70.

In the alert email, the tag &SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT& only returns a truncated description in the Long Text.

When defining the element, I've choosen CHAR3000, CHAR1024, etc. to no avail.

Has anyone been able to return the full adapter error text?

Hi,

if you double click on SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT  there will be an option in properties tab as multiline if you check that box then you will be able to get full error message.

Try to use SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRLINES. SAP Note #1294312

It has been working fine here...
