Hello Experts, We have production system that has 6 application server distributed. We have new set of interfaces that are being built for eS0A. We are planning to have a dedicated de-central adapter engine defined to process these specific interfaces. So could you please suggest, how should we set up a new decentral adapter engine added to the current production system and would there be any different licensing or configuration required ? Will there be any pros and cons by having a separate decentral adapter engine. Thanks in advance. Hari
Hi,
I dont think you really need Decentral Adapter Engine unless if load increases after moving new interfaces.
Thank you,
Raj

Thanks for the response. We have 7.10, and we are expecting increase of atleast 20 to 30 % increase in our load . Our main intention is to run these new interfaces via decentral engine so that they are not affected as they are bit critical for business. Can we add new decentral adapter engine to the existing production environment and move the critical interfaces to run in decentral adapter. Any idea of what would be the cost involved if we need to own a new decentral adapter engine to the current production system.
Hi Hari,
De-Centralized adapter engine helps in Load balancing and also gives the flexibility to handle single point failure to process later. For more information, check the below blogs:

Can you elaborate more on existing system version and type of scenarios which are proposed for De-centralize Adapter Engine ?

Sunil
