The client has a process where they move finish good products to an aged storage location when the exp date near. Typically when this happens, there are open orders which have this same finish goods product confirmed within a line item. Once the product is move we would just expect the line items to cut off the order during the delivery creation process.
Once the product is moved to the aged storage location, which is also reflected in CO09, the remarketing orders are created to pull the inventory out of the new aged storage location. However, the issue we are seeing is that the product (even though free from the fished goods storage location, and not confirmed to the old order) is not confirming properly as the ATP check says there is no inventory. The inventory is actually only freed up when the delivery is created or someone manually enters the order and rejects the line item.
How can this be fixed to become more automated?
Hi Chuck,
Please check if you have storage location level check activated in check control.
If that is unchecked there, that means the same is activated, then please check the same and try to do availability check again.
