I am getting "<u><b>Internal error in configuration</b></u>" when executing ALRTCATDEF transaction. I have done following.

1) My userid has required roles/authorizations

SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER

SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR

SAP_BC_ALM*

2) My XI Box itself is the Alert Server

3) Activated relevant ICF services

4) Scheduled RSALERTPROC

Could anyone please suggest the solution.

Thanks in advance

Is this a message that you are getting ?

if it is a message, could you please give more details of that like what is the message class and message number etc...

Also, could you debug and see where this is occuring..?

Thanks.

Message class is ALRT125.

I checked SE91 for message descritipon, but it also says the same thing "internal configuration error"

What verison of XI / SP ..is your system ? I cannot find the message class as you have said...

Anyways what i woudl try to do is to find out from where this error is called in the program and see the code executed there to under stand what the error is...

You can do a search in the program attached to ALRTCATDEF and see if you can find where this message is invoked from....or you can do a where used list for this message from SE91 and figure out how it is called during ALRTCATDEF...

Thanks.
