even if it is support please do not use it any longer!

The design of W2K3 is about 14 years old and the hardware changed dramatically since that time.

Even if you use the 64 Bit variant you may/will face serious problems when configuring more the 8 GB memory, because of the design of W2K3's memory management.

(also have a look a the maximum size of Hype-V Client running W2K3 --> 2 CPUs)

I strongly recomment to use Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit.

See also SAP Note 1316558.

regards

Peter

Hi Sarah,

Please see the below screenshot from PAM. Now it's only support 32 bit version.

Hope this helps.

Hello Abu,

As Peter already stated, I would recommend to go for the latest Windows Server version.

Dear Abu,

Which system are you trying to install??

You should check the installation guides, PAM and Notes for this information for the target system you want to install.

NW7 Ehp1

Win2003 not listed in pam. Inst guide is old.

I think win2003 not supported by sap anymore.

Dear Abu,

Need  further information to check.

What RDBMS version are you planning to use ??

I could see in the PAM that for some of the DBMS version, Windows Server 2003 is

supported.

Gaurav

Hello,

You might want to check the note 1326698 for reference. It is related to the installation of NW 701 on windows.
